I can listen to this over and over! Great story, character development is realistic, knowledge and appreciation of the sport is evident
The topical chapters are wonderful- only wish I could see the chapter names on my phone!
I am fascinated by Josiah Wedgewood- who knew a potter could be so interesting?
He seems to truly enjoy the subject matter and delights in storytelling
NO! This is one to savor, chapter by chapter… may want to grab additional information on the subject and re-listen.
Best of the Audible courses, so far.
Competitive automotive testosterone
Ferrari- because he's up against an increasingly powerful opponent, but comes back to fight!
Go like hell, but the first one to get there loses.
Educational and entertaining
An unsophisticated 15 year old.
Timothy Geithner ought to compensate for the time I wasted on this.
I think the problem was content based- not narrator fault. (Except in picking what she puts her name on)
A slap on the forehead saying I can't believe I paid for this !#)(!#%.
First time I've ever returned an audible book. Glad to know that this is an option.
Just plain fun
The characters were flawed, a bit sick and incredibly interesting.Just when I got comfortable with a story direction, it would twist and turn another direction.
It kept me awake for hours in spite of extreme jet lag… it made me toss and turn to try to stay awake after an 11 hour flight. 21 hours+ awake and I still listened….
NY'r has cut back on content over the last year. Fewer articles and writers are not bad but not up to NYs quality expectations.
I'll give the NY'r audible one more year- if it continues to shrink, journalistically and literally, I'll drop it next year.
For the most part, these are pros.
Ehhhh- pickpicket was an interesting listen.. everything else ZZZZZZZZ
Pull it together or lose subscribers.
Yes- I've been listening during a morning run, an afternoon drive, and an evening gardening session. Good stuff! Insprirational and fun
Travel, adventure, athleticism, and endurance.
had a hard time "putting it down" but also wanted to savor. A good combo
I listened to the story several times- a few chapters over and over. I loved the race prep and the visual impression of the villages.
It hit on my favorite topics; travel, adventure, running, family and wild animals. What could be better?!!
The scene on NY eve at the game preserve.... lions think of a tent no differently than a rock...
Fast & curious
Yes. The story kept my attention, characters were believable and memorable.
Edge is an overstatement, but it held my interest.
He adds some great voices and intonation.
I run and walk while I listen to stories...but I found myself on the other side of town in no hurry to get home.
As much as I enjoy Tina Fey, this was one where she didn't leave me wanting more. At some point an artist can become too much and this was it.
An actor wants to leave them wanting more...in this case I just wanted her to leave.
