I normally listen to Sci-Fi books, but I am ex military and wanting to move up into a leadership role at work. Mr. Powell has always been a role model for me so I thought I would take a listen to his book. I was pleasantly surprised that he is the narrator of this book. By far this is now my favorite book.
Busy Bastards, because my work is full of them. They are not who you think. Read the book.
I would love to have the time to sit down and hear this book all at one time. His answers fit perfectly into the military mantra that is already installed within me. I have listened to parts over already because I was in awe of how he expanded to deal with a situation.
Mr. Powell’s book is a great read for any veteran that is transitioning into the “real world”.
Ride into afterlife
Harry being as sarcastic as ever.
I was just disappointed in the narration. Not because John Glover did a bad job he was OK, I was just hoping it would have been James Marsters like all the other books. I have grown to love his character differentiating.
This book was delightful to listen to while sitting in my cube at work doing mundane work. My burst of laughter over Oberon’s (Snuggle Pumpkin) witty banter was worth the wait for Tricked!
When Oberon talked about knocking a man down and humping his leg and making him his bi**ch.
Coyote’s description of being swallowed head first and not dying until he hit the stomach acid. Loved IT!!
The combination of Kevin Hearne’s descriptive and humorous book with Luke Daniels narration is delightful and will draw you into the life of Atticus. If you have never read/ listened to any of Mr. Hearne’s book you are missing out!
