Would you consider the audio edition of Thunder and Rain to be better than the print version?

Never read the printed version. It just couldn't be as good as the audio!

What did you like best about this story?

The lesson. We run out of hope at times. This book is a reminder of hope. Living is the hard part. Gather the courage to live and the hope of tomorrow. What a great writer! I need more of his books to read and remind me.

Which character – as performed by Daniel May and Luci Christian Bell – was your favorite?

All of the characters were performed greatly. The mix of Daniel May and Luci Christian Bell made the story. I so enjoyed hearing Hope as a little girl then as an adult. But, it took both Mr. May and Ms. Bell to put the story on line. Greatly done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely, I did listen almost in one sitting. Even fell asleep listening.

    Any additional comments?

This is a book I really needed to listen to and plan to listen to more of Charles Martin.

When I write a review I try to be careful not to give away anything. Let me tell you, this book was great. I hated when it ended. Come on Audible we need (not want) the next book in the series. I can't wait. If you are looking for a book with romance, action, and a great narrator then this is the book. Just get it.

Wed by proxy to a baron old enough to be her grandfather, Lady Anne trudges up the gangway of a galleon that will deliver her into the arms of a tyrant. Crestfallen, she believes her disastrous life cannot get worse - until she awakes to the blasts of cannon fire. Facing certain death, Anne trembles in her stateroom while swords clash and the chilling screams of battle rage on the deck above. When a rugged Highlander kicks in her door, she prays for a swift end.

I think the only thing that saved this one was the Narrator, Paul Woodson. The story was so predictable. Think I could have written this one. In fact, if this story line is it, I could become a writer, make some money, and have a seller. Wow! Just joking. The story was so standard. I became bored with it and just gave up. Don't get me wrong, I love a great Highlander Romance.

What is not to like about this book. It has all the right components. Dex and Iris are the couple! Loved the way the they grew in their relationship. Now, this is a long book. Let me tell you, in no way did it seem long. I actually hated for it to end. The narrator was spot. Love listening to her. Great job. Only one problem. Audible only has one book of Ms. Zapata. Come on Audible, let us have more!!!!! Please!!!!

Elena MacFarland wonders what everyone else knows about her new farm that she doesn't, and whether she'll live long enough to find out. Betrayed by her fiancé and the powerful Worthington family, Elena fights back and negotiates a comfortable settlement with one small caveat: she must live in Scotland for two years. One kidnapping and two attempts on her life later, the darkly arrogant Scot, Faolan MacGailtry declares himself her new protector and moves into her farmhouse. Major problem?

Very few times have I ever written a bad review. This may even be my first! But, please! At first I told myself I would listen and I tried. Narration was bad and the story was bad. I kept asking myself, what? Where was the story going? Oh yeah, that's right. The story just went on and on and my interest kept going and going to fade. I finally FF and then give up. Now, with that being said, you may enjoy, love this series. But for me, NOT!!!

Lori Foster’s steamy romances have earned her a place on the New York Times and USA Today best-seller lists. Trace of Fever stars Trace Rivers, a private mercenary looking for vengeance after his sister’s kidnapping. Trace has targeted human trafficker Murray Coburn as the man responsible, but his plans for payback get complicated when Coburn’s beautiful daughter turns up.

I love the Characters in this book! There's actually a plot and the way it's written pulls you into the story. Now, the Narrator, Jim Frangione, is perfect in this. He has a certain voice that pulls you. I really can't explain the draw he has in his voice. Just know I like to hear it especially when it comes to Alpha males. Great job. Audible, don't change Mr. Frangione as the narrator in Lori Foster books. That would really be a mistake.

When Lady Johanna learned that she was a widow, she vowed she would never marry again. Only sixteen, already she possessed a strength of will that impressed all who looked past her golden-haired beauty. Yet when King John demanded that she remarry - and selected a bridegroom for her - it seemed she must acquiesce, until her beloved foster brother suggested she wed his friend, the handsome Scottish warrior Gabriel MacBain.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Sure would recommend this book. Narration was outstanding and so was the Scottish theme.

What other book might you compare Saving Grace to and why?

All the other Scottish Highlander books Julie Garwood wrote. Try any of them. If you love Scotland and Highlanders that is.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I love the way Ms. Garwood has strong yet understanding male characters which is found in all her books.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Most definitely, YES!

    Any additional comments?

I was sad. I laughed. I was totally taken by this book. The narrator was excellent. That makes the difference. Great Scottish and English accent.
