"'You knew they were there, didn't you?' Kahlan asked in a hushed tone as she leaned closer. Against the darkening sky, she could just make out the shapes of three black-tipped races taking to wing, beginning their nightly hunt. That was why he'd stopped. That was what he'd been watching as the rest of them waited in uneasy silence."

Would you try another book from Terry Goodkind and/or Jim Bond?

I really don't think so. I gave it every chance, but putting words on a page and using previous write ups to fill each new book is a waist of everyone's time.
    I'm done with this series

What would have made The Pillars of Creation better?

The series started strong, but how many times can one person be caught in the same situation. There is just a little too much preaching. I get it. I know how Kalen releases her power. I know the chant of the Daharans. This book added a new feature and that was being totally lost until the end. I get it. Darken Raul had lots of little bastard kids.

Would you listen to Stone of Tears again? Why?

This was the follow on to Wizards rule. the timeline is a little hard to believe.the events seem to happen over a very short time, but this certainly brought the base story to a nice close.

Would you listen to Wizard's First Rule again? Why?

A wonderful book with magic, evil, good, love, sword play and all the drama one could want. this book makes you want to get the next book. I really enjoyed this one.

What other book might you compare Wizard's First Rule to and why?

    the Magician's Apprentice Series

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator was a bit monotone. he just didn't seem to bring the story to its true potential.
