He is everything I crave, all I desperately want - and he is everything I can't have. Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets. My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan's dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can't fight.

What did you like about this audiobook?

I didn't care for this book very much. When I saw J Kenner's name I jumped at the new entry especially sinceEvan Black, who was mentioned only briefly in " Take Me" the wrap up to the Stark series peaked my enterest. But this book lacks the fire of the Stark series. I'm at chapter 15 and still no fire. I'm not giving up on J Kenner, I'll wait for the next book.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

I'm still trying to find the subject matter

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

No, not like the last books I read from this author. I had such high hopes that were dashed quickly

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

The narator was great just not a very good story. I will watch for this narrator to perform other works

Do you have any additional comments?

As I said earlier I love this writer this was just what I expected I will continue to watch for other project from J Kenner

If you could sum up Beauty and the Billionaire in three words, what would they be?

    sad, hopeful and absolutely wonderful

What did you like best about this story?

The author of this story, like myself, believes that there is someone out there for everyone. We would all like that big beautifully wrapped gift that we can hold up and show our friends and family but sometimes there is a true gift in the crumpled, torn and discarded gift wrap. This story reinforces my belief. Gretchen, a romantic, understands that and what happens after that is the most beautiful story.

Which character – as performed by Jillian Macie – was your favorite?

Hunter of course! Jillian actually put pain and sorrow in Hunters voice I really felt his emotions. Truly a great performance. I wish to thank her.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The part of the story that moved me the most was at the end of Hunter and Gretchen's first party. Poor Gretchen and been pushed into giving the party in the first place and the people she invited, clearly had no idea who she was to come in and judge her relation ship with Hunter.
Then when everything fell apart WOW! Been there!

    Any additional comments?

I didn't want this story to end, I hoped for at least an epilogue to show how they ended up. I'm sure they did marry, have children to fill that big home but Jessica Clare did such a fine job of drawing me in, I wanted her to tell me the happily ever after in her well written words. I will be watching out for her other works

Would you listen to Pulled again? Why?

I did listen to Pulled again twice back to back.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Daniel was my favorite character because he loved so deeply at such a young age. I cried so much reading this book being reminded a an old love lost. My wish for the world is love like A. L. Jackson writes about.

    Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many, but when Daniel take Melanie to the little home off campus memories from my first little home came flooding back and of course I cried again

If you could take any character from Pulled out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Melanie. Our lives parallel so much we could talk for ages.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! I love this book, it actually had a story that didn't depend on sex scenes as fillers.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Simon was my favorite because he was wounded and locked away for so long and he had so much love locked away I just he hoped everyday that that special women would come along and when she did? Oh my!

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Powers’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I haven't heard her before but will watch for her in future.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't want to pause this book but when I did I hurried what ever to get back to it. I wanted it to go on. Some unfinished story-lines I wanted to know if the poor brother found happiness too. Oh well.

This Cara is gorgeous, confident, fun. From the moment the fiery teacher steps foot on his family's Lazy K Ranch, the stubborn playboy is determined to corral her. So what happens when his luscious lover takes over the reins?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this story! It was available 1-21-14 and I bought it at just past 4:00 am. I've listened to it twice already today.

What did you like best about this story?

As so with the Seattle series, I love the family threads. Every character cares so deeply for one another. Kristen proby makes you want to meet and get to know her characters. To me good writing takes you from reality and has you right there as the story plays out. This story like her others give me that I can't wait for the rest of the series.

What does Deacon Lee and Elizabeth Louise bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like that she uses a male and female narator the way they are added in and out of the story gives clarity to what that character is really thinking. I find that just pure genius!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Abandoned boy find more than just a family he find the meaning of love and acceptance

    Any additional comments?

Kristen Proby fills the pages with a solid story and believable characters. For me they all have that "can't put it down" quality.I hoping to see many more stories to come.

Keeping others safe is what Caleb Montgomery does. He's never had a problem taking on an assignment, whether it was during his dangerous SEAL days or his most recent job of training war mercenaries. But being assigned to keep Brynna Vincent and her adorable daughters, Maddie and Josie, safe from an unknown threat has thrown Caleb off his axis. Hot for the tall brunette since she came back to town more than a year ago, being close to her day in and day out is cracking Caleb's resolve to keep his hands off her gorgeous body and his head in the mission.

I loved the way the relationship grew so effortlessly that the characters didn't see it but everyone else could. This series give every reader the feeling of family. I would love to wish friends, family and love like this to all my fellow reader!

What did you like best about this story?

The ending was wonderful I couldn't help tears of happiness!

Which character – as performed by Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer – was your favorite?

Caleb, he was so complex and both performs brought all the emotions to life for me

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and it did, with the help of my IPhone I didn't have to put it down it was only seven hours too short.

    Any additional comments?

I wish there was one more book to tie up some of the loose ends. What happens to Matt? I know with a family that large it would be difficult to cover every one but I've invested so much time and feelings for the families why start with a character and just drop it.
    Unless.... Maybe down the road.......

What disappointed you about One in a Million?

Not Roby's usual work! The story line has been done so often that as soon as she mention the surprise there was really no reason to finish the story. I won't stop reading Roby's stories, but I waste a credit on them again

Has One in a Million turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, but I will borrow the books from a friend and read it, I won't waste a credit

What aspect of Nehassaiu deGannes’s performance would you have changed?

She did the best she could with such a shallow story

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. Why mention Rev Black it he was not part of the story

    Any additional comments?

Nothing, I could change the product now it out there.
