I listen to an audiobook every week or so and love them. This is the most disappointing one I have ever listened to. If I hadn't paid for it I would not have finished it.
When you get to chapter 2 of Part 1, this changes to a totally different book for 2 chapters then returns to the book, having missed a chunk.
I listen to about 1 audio book a week and I did make it through this book ok, but it did drag on for a very long time. I never buy Abridged versions, but maybe I would have enjoyed this more if it were half the length. I was VERY pleasantly suprised at how wonderful Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) is as a Narrator! More please!!!!
I love this author but this book seemed to go forever and ever..... I did manage to make it to the end but can't even remember what it was about now.
This is my favourite author with my favourite narrator! Until now, Diary of a Demented Housewife (same author) was my favourite, but this was FANTASTIC! Loved everything about it (except the fact it ended).
This book sounded like just the kind I read, but I spend most of the book wondering if I should give up.... I found the narrator really wishy washy too, I don't think her voice is strong enough to be a narrator.
I am addicted to audio books and listen to about 1 a week and I have enjoyed this one the least. I found some of the accents very annoying and some of the storylines beyond even Chick Lit believable!
I listen to a lot of audio books and I think this is the most disappointing one so far... I spent the whole book waiting for a purpose, then when it appeared, the book was literally over.
I loved this story so much, I wanted it to go on forever. It was funny and real! The only bad bit was that it ended!
