I could listen to Martin Freeman read this 100 times and never get tired of it!
Marvin is my favorite character because he is just so pathetic. I also like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy if you can consider it a character, which I do.
Everything. The various voices, the sarcastic tone. He truly brings the books to life and I think Douglas Adams would love his narration.
Douglas Adams always makes me laugh. For absurdity if nothing else.
It's a great book with a fantastic narration. Everyone should get it.
I would definitely listen to all three of these books again. I can't imagine these books in any format but audio.
One of the most memorable (but not unsurprising) moments was when Walt and Anubis merged.
Sadie Kane as read by Katherine Kellgren
When Zia became Ra
The Rick Riordan Kane Chronicles are great books and really do best in the audio format. They draw you in and make you feel like you are a part of the action. Like they are speaking directly to you.
I would rarely say yes to this but with the full cast performance I would have to agree that in this case the audio is better!
I loved their performances.
This book had several locations where I laughed but mostly it just made me cry and feel pity for ender.
The narration was excellent.
The first book stolen
I haven't listened to any of his other narrations but I plan to check them out!
Books can change your life.
I loved everything about the book and its preformance.
Yes I probably would. I loved the narration and mostly enjoyed the story.
The Battle of Agincourt description.
The bond between Giomette and Catherine.
The birth-scene of Elise's daughter.
The wedding planning and wedding between Catherine and Henry.
The scene in the glen when they have Owen play the harp and then King Henry plays for Catherine.
Yes. I really wish that was possible sometimes!
I felt like the last chapter was very rushed but other than that I really loved the book.
