I've been listening to the Imortals after Dark series, and have enjoyed ever one I've finished so far. This one was no exception. It's written by Kresley Cole and narrated by Robert Petkoff, the dynamic duo! Need I say more.

This book came alive for me, I became friends with these characters. The author runs the gamut through all the emotions. I Howled with laughter, and sobbed rivers of tears, felt fear and anguish. It truly became a 3D book for me. I loved it and highly recommend it, although I do caution that reading it in public might elicit a few curious glances.

This book started with a bang... that being said, it fizzled a little and became predictable. There were times where the situations were unrealistic but overall I did enjoy it. The ending wasn't quite what I expected but made more sense than what I had imagined.
I didn't really care for the narrator, she spoke like a young teenager while the female character was in her 30's and I found that annoying. I raised the speed to 1.25 and that made is somewhat better.
All in all it was a good "read"

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amanda Ronconi is the perfect narrator for this series, she really knows how to bring out the scarcastic humor that is Jane Jamison. These books wouldn't be the same without her.

This is a great start to an awesome series! I loved every single book and hope that Molly Harper will add another. I am such a fan!
Any book about vampires and humans that can hold my husbands attention... has to be great! I heard him laughing out loud and couldn't believe that he wanted to hear the entire series. WAY TO GO MOLLY!!!

When 17-year-old Katy Swartz moved to West Virginia right before her senior year, she'd pretty much resigned herself to thick accents, dodgy Internet access, and a whole lot of boring, but then she spotted her hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up...until he opened his mouth. Daemon Black is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. It's hate at first sight, but when a stranger attacks her and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot guy next door? Well, he's an alien.

I thought the 1st few chapters moved along like alien version of the Twilight books and I almost quite, but so glad I kept on. The action became quite intense and I lost sleep in order to finish this book. I bought the 2nd in the series before I'd even finished this one! The ending was abrupt and I just had to go right into the next book. (I don't do that often)
I thought the narrator was OK just read a little slow. I adjusted the speed to 1.25 and it was much better.

No one is like Daemon Black. When he set out to prove his feelings for Katy, he wasn't fooling around. Doubting him isn't something she'll do again and now that they've made it through the rough patches, well, there's a lot of spontaneous combustion going on. But even he can't protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they loved. With help coming from the most unlikely source and Adam's death still lingering with those who loved him, friends will become the deadliest of enemies and the villains will no longer be clear.

This is a great continuation from book 1... and like the 1st book, I lost sleep to keep listening. The plot thickens and I found myself rewinding at times just to get everything straight. I'd read the reviews and saw a few disparaging the narrator. I thought she read too slow but still brought out the characters quite nicely. I adjusted the speed and that solved the problem.

This story started with a bang and had me hooked with the 1st chapter, but 1/2 way through it fizzled and I found myself anxious for it to end.
It's a period piece and the writing in the beginning reflected that. The way the characters thought, acted and behaved as one would expect. The 2nd half of the book was as if another writer had taken over. Love scenes became very descriptive sex acts, instead of the subtle hints of sexuality. For me... it just didn't meld. I was quite disappointed and found myself fast forwarding through most of the last chapters.
The Narrator, Julia Gibson was pretty good, although she doesn't do the different voices or accents, it was easy to distinguish the different characters. If it hadn't been for her narration I wouldn't have finished the book.

The reading of her "father's" will has led her to a world-shattering revelation: her sisters are not her blood kin and she may be the heiress to a massive fortune. Her not-quite-fiance Judd doesn't care where she came from - he only wants her by his side. But the primal need to uncover her past wins out, and Savannah trades the Montana ranges for Miami's moneyed oceanside enclaves.

What about Madison Vaughn’s performance did you like?

Madison does the great voices, she knows how to stay on track with each charactor so that I never had to guess who's dialog I was hearing. Great voice with a fairly even audio level. I just hate having to turn the volumm up and down! Madison got the emotions across with out the flux in volumm control.

A thriller, comedy, romance and tear jerker all in one! The plots twists and turns, just when I thought I knew what was next... it changed! LOL! Just love a book that can keep me in suspense. My husband really enjoyed it to, (I heard him laugh out loud a few times)

As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. I love series that continue with charactors already intoduced in previous books. Nora Roberts does this alot. She manages to attach your friendship to her charactors in the 1st book, and by the end of the series... you have an entire new community!
If your looking for a great way to spend a few days, curl up in your favourite chair with the BOONSBORO INN series!
    I loved them!
