Good story, good narrator.
Slade Barlow, Jack Garrett made his very easy to picture and relate to.
No problem with the name
will have to continue the series, there's nothing like a good cowboy/love story. :-)
Won't continue with this series of books, just totally lost interest in the characters. None of them have a drop of common sense. Its hard to find total stupidity amusing for any length of time
Great one liners, and wise cracks... but still could be serious.
Anatoly Darinsky and every interaction with Anatoly!
Gabra Zackman made this book. She did such a great job narrating that I forgot about the narrator and just enjoyed each character.
I like Johanna Parker, but felt some of the reading seemed rushed. This book seemed so similar to the books I've listened to by Juliet Blackwell (Witchcraft mysteries). There is Aidan/Steve, Sailor/Declan, The Coven, New witch who is "Special", Oscar/Mongo..............
It made me look up several writers on the internet to see if Bailey Cates was a pen name for Juliet Blackwell.....
Moving onto the 2nd in this series with a different narrator, which is disappointing.
Spend more time developing the additional characters, like Mel's father, his best friend, and the step son. I just love Mel's father, and would love to see more of him other than cooking dinner or breakfast. Xe Sands voice given to Mel's father makes him come alive and makes me want more of him!
Mel is frustrating with always doing what she wants when she wants and never giving a thought to anyone else. The romance part of the book with Graham is worthless, either have a bit of romance or leave it out all together. A kiss per book is ridiculous.
I like Xe Sands
Yes I would, it's fun and flows nicely and Xe Sands is a wonderful narrator.
Yes, have listened to all the Witchcraft Mysteries, and now listening to all the Haunted Home Renovation series. Juliet Blackwell has a great sense of humor.
Oh yes, she is wonderful
probably will listen to the entire series again at some time.
A bit disappointed. A lot of buildup and then a quick finish.
I have no problem with the narrator.
Not sure if there will be another book in this series, but I hope there is. Think the "power" Lily acquired in "Tarnished and Torn" needs more development, as well as the herb classes and an alliance with Aiden.
Have not read any of these, always the audio edition. Love the audible books.
She is awesome. the characters always sound the same from book to book.
Everyone one with Oscar and/or Sailor. Enjoyed this book very much.
Such fun books to listen to.
I really find these books fun and enjoyable.
I love Oscar, he is so totally lovable. He makes the books!
Oscar is who I liked best.
I enjoyed this audio book, and have now downloaded the next one in the series
Sure, I thought she did a very fine job, and does a good job with male voices too.
no, TV makes things too cheesy
A different narrator, a less predictable story, and a LOT less boring babbling unimportant details.
TOTALLY finished with the Bentz and Montoya series. If cops are really this stupid, naive and gullible, I don't want to know this.
Prefer a male narrator, as Joyce Bean just butchers male voice, and this book had too many males. Story painful
I don't think so, probably done with Lisa Jackson
To be fair, I did enjoy Afraid to Die: A Selena Alvarez & Reagan Pescol Novel, Book 4.
