Drafted against her will to become a "Sparrow" - a trained seductress in the service, Russian intelligence officer Dominika Egorova is assigned to operate against Nathaniel Nash, a first-tour CIA officer who handles the CIA's most sensitive penetration of Russian intelligence. The two young intelligence officers, trained in their respective spy schools, collide in a charged atmosphere of tradecraft, deception, and inevitably, a forbidden spiral of carnal attraction that threatens their careers and the security of America's valuable mole in Moscow.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better narrator. Jeremy Bob was monotone and downright insipid. You could not tell the difference between his characters. It was like one long run-on sentence. Definitely stay away from Jeremy Bob.

What did you like best about this story?

    Plot revelation was very good.

How could the performance have been better?

This performance was the bottom of the barrel. I could have done a better job. How Jeremy Bob got this assignment is a mystery to me. Stay away from him.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The story line was quite good but the narrator definitely made it hard to listen to.

    Any additional comments?

I'm not a fan of Jeremy Bob. I've heard subpar narration before but this was the worst.
