Yes I would. I enjoyed this whole world that Amy Plum has created. I love the Paris setting, the adorable characters and the new spin with something other than vampires and werewolves. Julia Whelan is an exceptional narrator. She has different voices for all her characters which really brings them to life. All three books are well narrated and well written.
So hard to choose... I love Jules, but that's the artist in me.
Spoiler Alert... When they finally figure out how to bring Vincent back.
Pretty darn close to crying at the beginning of the book, but that would be strange since I'm at work. Later, I sat at my desk going I knew it, I KNEW IT!!!!
I recommend this book for all to enjoy. I listen to all sorts of bookgenres, and this series was one of the best that I have listened to lately.
I really felt that in this whole third book, the writer was done with series. I got a movie deal, this book doesn't matter. Spoiler: Killing off your main character felt like the writer wanted to write about Four the whole time, then she should have. Waiting til the 3rd book to switch up view points was an insane, horrible idea. The book itself was boring. I've heard they paln to make this into 2 movies, HOW??? Those will be some boring movies. There isn't enough action and putting all that friction between the love interests didn't help, they should have come together and relied more on each other and that would have been a better book. I didn't like much about this book.
Not have counted her chickens before they hatched. I could just tell that she had a hard time finishing this book. It was not up to par. Where were her editors? Why didn't they say this is crap?
Their performances were good for the boring material they had. I really like Emma Galvin's narration.
I wish I could say yes. It was choppy, poorly put together, and doesn't flow with the other stories. I guess it wrapped it up, but so disappointing.
Amy Plum's books are filled vivid imagery of wonderful scenery and deep characters that you get attached to. I waited and waited for book 2 to be released as an audio book. Yes it's a love story, but it's no twilight. This is a wonderful journey into a world of other beings, never seen before. No Vampires and Werewolves here.
The characters. They are not a copy of anything I've read/listened to before. Fabulously creative.
Each new character is distinct of the rest with the voices she uses. It gives the book a depth that other narrators have fallen short on.
If only my work day was longer...
I found this book to be informative in whats going on with my teenagers. It covered lots of topics from attitudes to sex and gave helpful, insightful ways to discuss these topics with your own children.
