After reading an article about a local farmer who had dedicated his life to growing giant pumpĀkins, Michalowicz realized the same process could apply to growing a business. He tested the Pumpkin Plan on his own company and transformed it into a remarkable, multimillion-dollar industry leader. First he did it for himself. Then for others. And now you.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Pumpkin Plan to be better than the print version?

Yes, Michael does a superb job reading. I am a little weary of authors who narrate their own books, but for me, I honestly wouldn't want anyone else to read this one.

What other book might you compare The Pumpkin Plan to and why?

"Business Upgrade" or "The Intelligent Entrepreneur" are books that I'd relate this book to. They each have very different styles, but all are filled with the principles of building a successful business. "The Pumpkin Plan" is probably the most practical of the three.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Michael describes how various industries can be Pumpkin-Planned. These really enforce the steps he teaches. By the end of the book you can sort of test yourself by how well you can predict the next story.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes.
