I enjoyed every moment and didn't want it to end. I was leary of science fiction but what a treat this book turned out to be.
King and Maxwell is an engaging mystery. No moments of boredom - the case just kept getting larger and more involved. It was easy to question the wisdom of several of the characters, but believable. Maxwell irritates somewhat - but I have a hard time with severely messy people. Good Read, just what I always get from Baldacci
I had stopped reading Griffin - partly because I was getting bored. I'm so glad I took a chance on Sycamore Road. I loved every chapter. It is full of rich and colorful characters, great narration and a perfect ending.
Kinsey and Henry are like cozy friends. I'm always happy to visit with them again, but this time they were the only likeable characters. Perhaps Grafton was trying too hard to make the deadline for W. Kinsey wasn't the savvy, smart detective I'm used to and Henry's judgement was somewhat impaired.
I wish I had read more of the reviews. I finally stopped listening and felt relief.
This was a terrific listen! The history was fascinating, the characters believable and even though it was a long story it never got boring.
Well, its about Nazi's crushing the human soul. I love George Guidall, but this story was depressing and kept on with a main character that had few redeeming qualities. For me, a very bad choice.
It starts out rather engaging and then some of the authors begin to use the story for their own political views and ended making a mess of the plot and even messier characters.
Chris Grabenstein does not disappoint with John Ceepak and his witty partner Danny Boyle. The mystery is engaging and always leaves me happy.
Jeff Woodman is excellent as the narrator. He gets the voices perfect.
This is my favorite audio book of the year! Every moment keeps you engaged - crying, laughing, hoping and finally completely fulfilled!
