One of the top 5. Appreciated that he took the time to read the Intro. The reader for the bulk of the book did well...nice tone and intonation.
Tom's no nonsense but encouraging introduction.
This is non-fiction. I especially like Tom's goal setting process.
Realistic fitness lifestyle changes for anyone, any age any shape.
Tom backs up his publications with a fitness community website that has helped hundreds/thousands of people get in better shape. He personally takes the time to answer questions and gets involved with members on the online forums. He likes to give kudos to those who succeed. (There are fitness contests throughout the year). I hope he writes a book geared more for those who have to lose 100 lbs or more. He has some sound goal setting strategies, but it would help even more if there was a strategy set out especially for the most struggling crowd.
I have 3 times now. I enjoy the story. I liked the way the story built in intensity for the female heroine.
The courage of Lucy at the end and how her life changed going forward.
I like to 'hear' the characters say their own words, not just read them.
When you get toward the end you don't want to stop. Thank goodness for portable players.
The only voice I didn't really like was the little boy's. Felt that one could have been done better, but this is somewhat of a minor point.
