  • Reagan in His Own Voice: Ronald Reagan's Radio Addresses

    • ORIGINAL (5 hrs and 29 mins)
    • By Ronald Reagan
    • Narrated By Ronald Reagan

From 1975 to 1979 Ronald Reagan gave more than 1,000 daily radio broadcasts, the great majority of which he wrote himself. These addresses transform our image of Reagan, and enhance and revise our understanding of the late 1970s - a time when Reagan held no political office, but was nonetheless mapping out a strategy to transform the economy, end the Cold War, and create a vision of America that would propel him to the presidency.

Michael says: "I LOVED this -common sense in Reagan's own voice"
"Excellent collection & presentation of material!!"

This audio-book does and excellent job in collecting, organizing and presenting all the radio addresses. It sets the context before his address to help the listener understand what the president will be talking about.

Whether you agree with the president's view point or not, he does command respect. His belief in his religion, his conviction in the American people, and trust in the American philosophy of governance and freedom are unparalleled.

  • Steve Jobs

    • UNABRIDGED (25 hrs and 19 mins)
    • By Walter Isaacson
    • Narrated By Dylan Baker
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

    Jeanne says: "Interesting man"
"Hard to do a better Job!! (pun intended!)"

Great job by Isaacson in gathering all the information from Steve and his acquaintances! Walter's very lucky that Steve asked him to write an Auto-Bio. It will be hard to match this by anyone especially SJ's not longer with us...

Additionally...BEAUTIFULLY narrated by Dylan Baker. Really did a phenomenal job in capturing the emotions of the subject....very hard to do....Subject to Author sometimes is easy, but Subject to Author to Narrator..?! EXCELLENT WORK! HIGHLY RECOMMEND LISTENING!
