Great book !! I have a new author to look forward listening to again. This was fast paced, never slow, well narrated and well written. Mark Greaney is the best new author I have read in quite some time. I can't wait to see what The Gray Man does next.
Complex and action packed from beginning to end. Very well thought out story and characters that are drawn so well that you are really rooting for them or against them. Lots of breath holding suspense too.
I really enjoyed this book. I read all the usual suspects in this genre (Thor, Greaney, Flynn, etc. and I thought this complex story was right up there with them. I loved the intrigue and I especially enjoyed how the author ended the book. Often an author will just leave a cliffhanger which usually ticks me off because it holds me hostage to buy another. I liked how we know there is more to come from Scott Rourke but the reader is satisfied that everything important was cleared up in this one.
I highly critical and the first to point out bad narration and I don't know what some reviews are talking about. I thought the narrator did a fine job. Off to the next in this series!!!
Just went I thought I figured this out there was another twist. Then I figured it out again...wrong more twists and so it went until the very end. Lisa Gardner did an incredible job moving this story along through complicated and unsuspecting twists and turns. I really enjoyed this book.
Lots of fast moving action. Very like able characters who aren't perfect machines which makes the tension even better. Great series. On to book #3 in the series.
I Loved the story. This is not your typical generic storyline. Lots of twists and turns and mystery surrounding the characters.
The third book in the series did not disappoint. Great seat of your pants action from start to finish. I am so glad I found this series and I am looking forward to the next. This rates right up there with Vince Flynn, Brad Thorn and Mark Greaney.
Michael Connelly once again writes a great story. The characters are well done and plot is intriguing. That being said, the narration was so horrific that I almost called my doctor for a Prozac prescription to get through the depressing narration. Titus Welliver made ZERO attempt to distinguish one character from another and his delivery was so dead pan that I almost gave up. Get this one on Kindle or buy the actual book folks.
