This is a no-brainer for me because I don't have the time or good eyes to READ a book any more.
The narrater did a decent job, but I agree with other reviewers that the accents were a bit distracting. Having said that, I can see why he did it, because the way the author was including so much research material, it would have been difficult to distinguish between what THEY were saying vs what HE was saying. The accented narration made it clearer who was talking.
I've been seeing more and more lately that has convinced me that our planet, at the very least, has had extraterrestrial visitors in the past. This book does a great job of bringing a huge amount of disparate evidence together to make that case even more convincing! Mr. Marrs, as always, does meticulous research, and makes this reality pretty hard to ignore. Loved the book!
I've recently become a huge fan of Nelson Demille, and this is by far the best ever. As long as it was, I didn't want it to end! As a Vietnam vet, I can vouch for his completely accurate depictions of the times, and it's easily the most compelling I've ever read on the subject. The plot also keeps you guessing until the end.
