"Worst Narrator Ever on Patterson Book"
    Overall

What happened to the great narrator usually on Patterson books? This guy sounds like he is going to sleep and makes me want to buzz off too. Love the words, hate the voice, inflection etc. Why did you change? Get the other narrator back and label it so everyone can see "Original Narrator's Voice" on this newest novel and thereafter. If he died, then find someone else that sounds like he is alive and has some realistic enthusiasm for his work.

When Dr. Mike Scanlon is called to serve as an army doctor in Afghanistan, he’s acutely aware of the dangers he’ll face and the hardships it will bring his wife, Chloe, and their newborn baby. And deep inside, he doesn’t think of himself as a hero, but a healer. However, in an ironic turn of events, as Mike operates on a wounded soldier in a war-torn country, Chloe dies at home in the suburbs, in an apparently freak household accident. Devastated, he returns home to bury her, only to discover that the life he left behind has fallen apart.

Best-selling author John Sandford takes all the action and suspense of his acclaimed Prey novels and heads west to the dark gleam of L.A.- where the Night Crew works. A mobile unit of video freelancers, they prowl the midnight streets to sell to the highest network bidder. Murders. Robberies. High-speed chases. For them, it is an exhilerating life.
