From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Would you try another book from Chris Kyle and Scott McEwan and/or John Pruden?

no never, this author is not an author, seems to me probably didn't finish school and obviously failed english class, his grammer is poor to terrible.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John Pruden?

no narrator could have helped this writer.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from American Sniper?

the part about him being or even thinking christianity has anything to do with what he was out there doing to people.

    Any additional comments?

I'm sorry I wasted my time and money, I couldn't even finish the book.

  • The World of Ice & Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the Game of Thrones

If the past is prologue, then George R. R. Martin's masterwork - the most inventive and entertaining fantasy saga of our time - warrants one hell of an introduction. At long last, it has arrived with The World of Ice & Fire. This volume is a comprehensive history of the Seven Kingdoms, providing vividly constructed accounts of the epic battles, bitter rivalries, and daring rebellions that lead to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire and HBO's Game of Thrones.

Would you try another book from the authors and/or Roy Dotrice and Nicholas Guy Smith ?

    narration is fine.

What was most disappointing about the authors’s story?

info that could have been told during the other five books, and much info that needn't be told at all.

What does Roy Dotrice and Nicholas Guy Smith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

holding the book in my hands.

    Any additional comments?

It's a good thing George didn't lead with this book, George lets get on with the story and quit sucking money from your followers.

  • City of Bones: The Mortal Instruments, Book 1

When 15-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing, not even a smear of blood, to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

different narrator, fact finder about nephlim would have been handy for the author, you can't make something good about something bad. What I mean is she could have just made up a name of a being that didn't exist and expand on that. I didn't get half way through and stopped and couldn't take any more.

Would you ever listen to anything by Cassandra Clare again?

can't believe she wrote more, her father must be rich and own a publishing house.

How could the performance have been better?

    go to literature school

What character would you cut from City of Bones?

    the main

    Any additional comments?

I really tried, just couldn't wait for the story to get going, The vampires and the rat episode killed it for me
