The best American novel to emerge from World War I, A Farewell to Arms is the unforgettable story of an American ambulance driver on the Italian front and his passion for a beautiful English nurse.

Valerian says: "This is not unabridged"
    "Engagingly Narrated"

This book is a classic and has been reviewed by many more qualified than me. I will address the narration. I was impressed with the narrator's ability to manage the many voices while using great expression to give the story greater life. An excellent listen:)

Why we think it’s a great listen: You thought he was a stodgy scientist with funny hair, but Isaacson and Hermann reveal an eloquent, intense, and selfless human being who not only shaped science with his theories, but politics and world events in the 20th century as well. Based on the newly released personal letters of Albert Einstein, Walter Isaacson explores how an imaginative, impertinent patent clerk became the mind reader of the creator of the cosmos.

Henrik says: "Surprise: Two books in one!"
    "Science & Humanity"
    Overall

Writing about Einstein's life is a dream job for a biographer! So many accomplishments and facets to explore. This book offers the compelling science, history and philosophy of a great human.
