Presumed Innocent brings to life our worst nightmare: that of an ordinary citizen facing conviction for the most terrible of crimes. Prosecutor Rusty Sabich is transformed from accuser to accused when he is handed an explosive case - that of the brutal murder of a woman who happens to be his former lover.

What does Edward Herrmann bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Edward Herrmann reads aloud in the manner that I read silently. He brings more than a change in vocal style or cadence to each character and rather is actually *playing* the role. That's quite rare. He is an extraordinarily talented performer.

Which character – as performed by Daniel Davis – was your favorite?

Oddly enough, the Hutts were my favorites. The digital vocal effects add a great deal. Kudos to the producers as well as Mr. Davis.

    Any additional comments?

Overall, this is simply an outstanding vocal performance of a well-written novel.
