Bryson is the funniest, most entertaining and educational writer of our time
at Home by Bryson, but this is more topical to USA his recounting about Henry Ford is hilarious
This story is frequently implausible. Seems like the author is being paid by the word count. He often waxes long about the philosophy of spying. It?s a fair read (listen) but I have read much better Ludlum in the past.
Yes, it's about orchids, but it's really about obsession, passion, collecting, and the meaning of life. Also theft, greed, bizarre collectors and explorers. This is the best book I've listened to in a couple of years.
