Ben Coes is the top dog in the espionage terrorism genre right now. Dewey Andreas is as bad as they come. If the country is in trouble better call Dewey. Just don't let him care about you. Great books. Every one is fantastic.
Where did this one come from. Animals taking over. I don't think so. Patterson puts his name on anything these days.
Bad narration. Couldn't get into it at all. Didn't finish the book. Couldn't get into it at all.
Good first book and it has garnered a lot of attention. I just don't what I think about it. The hero is no hero at all. He makes some moves that would be considered heroic and then he goes and does something purely for his own self interest. Just not sure how I feel about it.
Gabriel Allon is the best. I love every Silva book as much as the last. They are all so well written and by now I feel I am part of the team. Hopefully they keep sucking Gabriel back in.
This might just be the best book I have ever read. The action never stops. The plot is so intricate and so well conceived it is unbelievable. I can't believe this is only his second book. I can't get enough of Dewey Andreas. Kudos Ben Coes.
I love the Jonathan Grave series but this was out of control. The premise was so flawed. Mr Gilstrap was asking us to suspend all knowledge of facts and how the world actually works. Just way too much.
This was rough. Even read the first one of this series but it just went way out there. Too many giant leaps without telling us how you got there. Don't usually start and not finish but that was the case with this one.
I have not been happy with Brad Thor on his last several books so it is nice to see him back on point. Path of the Assassin might be my favorite book of all time so I love the Horvath series but it was just going sideways. This one is back to being a current headline.
Fun book, but a little too much of a stretch. Great chase and fight scenes but the Loch Ness Monster. Cmon man.
