Very sensible and well produced examination and evaluation of our current situation in politics. Anyone who wants to learn both sides of the picture should listen to this one.
Well researched of what we are about and what we do.
That we are obstinate in our answers intuitively and refuse often to accept the facts.
Didn't expect any secrets. Author keeps alluding to how he is outling the book and then goes off on a tangent. If you are interested in Buffett quotations, there are plenty. Lots of big financial figures thrown around if you are interested. Guess I didn't know what my expectations were so I can't complain about that.
Follett demonstrates his distinct ability to take you back to a time where you have the enjoyment of living the period as if you are a part of it.
Like two intrigue novels interwoven into one - the past and now. Enjoyable read.
Intriguing but somewhat predictable.
Friedman has done an excellent job of researching the leveling of the playing field through the economic phenomenon of very cheap telecommunications throughout the world tying our economies closer together and allowing for cost reduction through exporting jobs that can be done faster, better and cheaper by others. This is reported by a reporter, factual and describes accurately the future of businesses that can export functions. A little Gee whiz, but good information.
Most enjoyable and informative from the author's view of how the dysfuntion of the crimial justice system can be exploited today. Most enjoyable and realistic mystery with many surprises.
A very good read that describes very well the differences in cultures and society encompassed within a good story of the destruction and resurection of the grand opera house.
The book is full of information presented in a logical and clear manner considering the broad extents of knowledge that is presented. The book is exceptional and a great listen.
