The single biggest reason that people fail to get what they want out of life is that they never bother to figure out what they want. When you know what your dreams are, what you’re trying to achieve, you have a sense of what you’re working for. Haven’t you noticed how that commitment of achievement lights a fire under you? How it makes you willing to do whatever it takes to succeed? This kind of commitment inspires you to achieve. And it’s exactly the kind of commitment Warren Greshes helps you develop in Supercharged Goal-Setting.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

More specifics. I think this was far to general based on the title. There seems to be a glaring lack of specifics which is what I expected from the title.

Would you ever listen to anything by Warren Greshes again?

    Probably not...

Yes I Can! is for anyone who ever said, “I wish I could be like that person.” Deep down we know that we all have the potential to be “that person”, but achieving it seems impossible in practice. Well it’s not impossible; you have the power to dramatically change your life. You can become more confident and motivated and find greater focus and direction in your life. You can become a better leader or manager and fill yourself with positive energy.

What did you love best about Yes I Can!?

The information is very good, but it was an adjustment with the narrator's English accent. After a while it became easier but you can miss things because of it if not careful.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Imogen Church?

    Maybe, depending on content.

What did you learn from Yes I Can! that you would use in your daily life?

Several good exercises to strengthen my positive visualizing ability.

  • Know Can Do!

Attempting to better themselves, learn new skills, and break bad habits, people read books, attend seminars, and take training courses. But in spite of what they sincerely believe are their best efforts, their behavior doesn't change. It's an endless source of frustration for organizations and individuals. Using the fable format Ken Blanchard made famous, the authors here lay out a straightforward method for making sure you actually use what you know.

Would you recommend Know Can Do! to your friends? Why or why not?

I would buy the book and read it. There is good information but the audiobook is terribly written and so the narration suffers. It is very boring to continually hear "the author said" probably 50 times or more. Very hard to get past that to the material some of which is excellent.

How could the performance have been better?

A better script. This is an awful job of editing.
