They've moved into the Green Monstrosity, and Bear is finally able to admit his love for the man who saved him from himself. But that's not the end of their story. How could it be? The boys find that life doesn't stop just because they got their happily ever after. There's still the custody battle for the Kid. The return of Otter's parents. A first trip to a gay bar. The Kid goes to therapy, and Mrs. Paquinn decides that Bigfoot is real.

    Story
Where does Who We Are rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

    Near the top.

What did you like best about this story?

I love how Bear, Otter and Tyson make a beautiful family the love between these guys is so endearing any little boy would be very lucky to have parents like Bear and Otter. The enter play between the characters is fun and there's many times I was laughing and crying a very sweet story of love and acceptance.

    Which scene was your favorite?

When Tyson got scared when he thought Bear was changing there fight was intense and at the end of that scene I was shocked and surprised when Tyson's friend told Bear he was sexy and hot in what he was wearing that was such a cool scene.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Two men and a genius.

    Any additional comments?

To gay men I can't recommend this book enough it is so much fun I never was bored I even rewound scenes from time to time because I just had to hear it again if you like gay love stories as much as I do then this book is for you. Bear's love for Otter is so strong and so beautiful and Otter's love for Bear is so complete so total it's hard to imagine any person loving another person with this much intensity, I LOVE THIS BOOK! I will read and listen to it many times. This in my opinion is how a gay love story should be.

Three years ago, Bear McKenna’s mother took off for parts unknown with her new boyfriend, leaving Bear to raise his six-year-old brother Tyson, aka the Kid. Somehow they’ve muddled through, but since he’s totally devoted to the Kid, Bear isn’t actually doing much living. With a few exceptions, he’s retreated from the world, and he’s mostly okay with that - until Otter comes home. Otter is Bear’s best friend’s older brother, and as they’ve done for their whole lives, Bear and Otter crash and collide in ways neither expect.

    Story
If you could sum up Bear, Otter, and the Kid in three words, what would they be?

    Funny, Entertaining, charming.

What other book might you compare Bear, Otter, and the Kid to and why?

Good to know by D.W. Marchwell. Good to know is similar to Bear, Otter, and the kid, a story of two men and a little boy, the boy in this story is very smart and sweet and funny just like Tyson. The two men found love with each other and there number one job is to take care of and love there son I enjoyed it.

Have you listened to any of Sean Crisden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Not that I know of.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When bear was trying to get otter to tell him why he left. And when bear had a fight with his girlfriend about how he feels about otter.

    Any additional comments?

This story is very charming and sweet there is so much love to go round I love how everyone loves and takes care of Tyson that's one little boy who doesn't lack in love everyone loves him and they adore him. The relationship between Bear and Otter is sweet but intense it's sweet to see how much they love each other.

Openly erotic and smart, the stories of Best Gay Romance deliver hope and happy endings. "The Early Show" describes the tantalizing flirtation of two writers who share an eccentric habit of showing up early to Sunday matinees to enjoy the promising half-dark of the theater. "No More Mirages" is a tale of romantic destiny set in a dojo, an oasis of bamboo, white mats, and stone sculptures where an actor, bitter from his last break-up, finds himself drawn to a charismatic sensei. In "Nudie Blues," a romance writer discovers a hole in his backyard fence and the hunky new neighbor behind it.

What did you like best about Best Gay Romance? What did you like least?

Best: the gay love making. Least: the straight love making.

Was Best Gay Romance worth the listening time?

    Mostly.

    Any additional comments?

The best gay romance? For a book of gay romance there was a lot of straight sex in it. If I wanted to listen to straight romance or sex I would first have to be straight, I'm not into straight romance or sex I'm gay that's why I purchase this book in the first place. Yes there was more gay romance and sex than straight romance and sex I guess I was a little bit disappointed.

Zach's Secret about another closeted teen in high school hiding.

    Russell Middlebroock

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Russell abused the boy in the janitor closet so his friends would think he was cool and just like them.

    Any additional comments?

This story reminds me of my time in high school there where kids who where in the closet
some like me who where out and some of those kids in the closet where the most homophobic acting. I though could relate to Russell Middlebrook I was afraid of being found out about my sexuality, till I met my new boyfriend he was out and showed me it was good being who I was his closeness gave me strength he helped me more than any teacher, any counsellor ever did.
