I've read this book many times. It was nice to listen to it for a change.
I was very surprised to hear quite a few stumbles and slip ups by the narrator. They were very obvious, not subtle. I'm sure this is very common (it's a long book written in an old style) but it was VERY disappointing to me that time wasn't taken to edit them out. Surely this is what usually happens, right?
I really enjoyed that Landor could switch accents. Her American accent was very good. It really helped with the believability of the story.
I really enjoyed listening to this, it seemed to go so fast. I did figure out the ending before it got there, though.
