Yes, I love the introduction of Quinn the were-tiger. I wish he was in the series more than he was. I also like that Eric is annoyed that Sookie is looking else where for male companionship. I think it is kinda of cute that he has to deal with his feelings about Sookie.
My favorite scene is the date between Sookie and Quinn. He like her so much and seems really fun to be with. It is unfortunate that Sookie gets so upset with him, so quickly.
What is hidden beneath.
Great series. Love the way Charlaine Harris writes her books. The stories are always action back and yet endearing.
That all the relationship were a little different than what I expected, but I'm glad the story try to include all types of relationships. .
None of my books compare to this audiobook, it is a little realistic tale, but unexpected turn of events that involved not only .a professional side on Lord John's life but personal also.
The narrators voice brings the time period to life and does a great job with the voices. Surprise ending.
Mind your own business
Yes, the adventure is exciting, unexpected and the characters are a little out of the ordinary.
There are a lot of memorable moments because when you think the story is settling down something else happens that made me hold my breath and made me want to listen to what happen next.
When one of the historians are expelled and a contributor retrieve her and helps her save the day.
Yes, I couldn't wait to find out what happens next.
Bought the next two stories in this series.
Bloodlines come together
That there is another line to the Carpathians and that new characters are being introduced.
Branislava because she strong and cares about her lifemate. I like that she can turn into a Dragon.
Two Great Bloodlines will come together
The is a very good series but there are now 26 novels, all worth it.
Creativity is salvation
The fact that a woman was an executive chef. I also like the recipe from this book
My favorite scene is the cook off, and that Elena wins. The baklava sounds really delicious
I don't know since I only have this story in audio form. However, I have read many stories from this author and love her stories.
When Tessa finds out who she is and that she still has a sister.
When Tessa shows up at Vince's and apologizes to Natalie, and asks for a chance to be part of his life.
Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.
I've read a lot of Barbara Samuel's books and they are marvelous and very special. The characters are intriguing and well thought out. I love the career choices Samuel picks for her characters.
Learning through helping.
The boy who was killed and became a ghost and an angel for the field.
Eby's brings the voices to the characters, but O'neal writes story that stand alone.
At the end of the story when the gang members attack Elisa and she ends up in the hospital and the angels and saints help her recuperate. I also like the community garden and kitchen and all the positive relationship that come from it.
I like the garden and recipe stories it seems to me they should fit together some how, but unfortunately they don't.
Yes, I love the relationships that are in this story. Samuel has a knack of creating great characters and plots that just makes me want more.
Most memorable moment is when Trudy and Rick start to get their relationship back together. I like that it was a little work for them to learn more about each other and to treat each others as adults not just someone your with.
She did a great job with the characters voices. She had the intensity some of the characters needed in order to understand them.
When the beginning novelist went to the writers retreat even when her husband left her, but then once he realized she wasn't going away he was her biggest fan.
Good story, but I have loved every novel from Barbara O'neal has written.
I don't know since I only have the audio version, but I prefer to have both. I love the written word and the audio version brings the characters to life.
No Rest for the Wicked and Pleasure of a Dark Prince. They both have couples who have to do any adventure to bring them together, but once it does the love is great.
Lanthe is my favorite. I like how nice she is even though she's suppose to be evil, but she just can't. I love that she becomes more self confident as Thronos and Lanthe try to solve their problems.
No, because then I have to wait for the next novel in the series, so I like to savor the story.
The last two stories are in keeping with the earlier stories and of course I LOVE NIX. When she gets her story the guy will have to be fantastic.
This a very good story, but there is darkness in it that makes want to throw up you hands and walk away from the story.
How authentic the story line was from true history.
Frederica because she perseveres under tremendous odds and some how survives.
Yes, when the Jews are gather into a synagogue and burn to death, it my breath stop and made me want to cry for those lose souls.
Barbara Samuels or Barbara O'neal stories are fantastic, they will make you think, laugh, sigh and fall in love with all her characters.
Major character update
I like that a lot of the secondary characters were given a story of their own ( Dianta, Quinn, Eric, etc) now we need a sequel on the sequel.
She brought life to the story and she brings life to the sequel.
The one with Dianta made me laugh and Eric's made me happy.
This was a very good series and another sequel would be great.
