I found myself laughing out loud in the car, just like her other books. I now use "Chelsea-isms". Kaschlapus, chunk, and others. Fantastic.
Absolutely loved this book. I was skeptical, as I had never heard it. But i enjoyed all 20 hours of the book.
Loved every minute of this book. Elizabeth Warren's message is beyond clear and inspirational. Great insight of the inner workings of the financial industry from an expert.
All of Gillian's books are amazing. Not as good as "Gone Girl", but still very entertaining. I hated pausing the story!
I cried at the end of this book. Malala's story is amazing, truly life changing. Her strength is palpable through her words. Truly incredible.
Along the same lines as Chelsea Handler and Tina Fey, her stories about being a female in comedy and show business are fantastic.
Mindy is quick and witty. Very funny and very entertaining.
Tina Fey is absolutely amazing!! Hysterical!!! Great story teller. Extremely inspiring. I didn't become a fan of her until I read this book. She's different in that she's not the stereotypical "in your face" feminist (although I admire and adores those too), but rather, "please stop talking about how funny I am for a female". Very funny and very entertaining. I really enjoyed it. It's great for all, especially those who aspire to be in the screen writing, tv, radio, or theatre business.
Although very different stories and lives, I could compare it to Sheryl Sandberg's, "Lean In". I didn't realize how much of a feminist Tina Fey was. She's truly inspiring.
The story was excellent. As a young reader/listener, it provided perspective. Told from an older man's point of view about his life in his 20s, he tells his story from a nursing home. Very good book. I really enjoyed it.
The only good part of the book. The first few hours dragged on until the last few chapters. The end definitely redeemed the entire book.
I was a little disappointed. I was really looking forward to listening to this. Unless you're in the military or navy seal community and understand the lingo, it'll probably be hard to get into and comprehend. Even I, growing up around military and being a military spouse, found this to a little hard to follow. The first few hours dragged on, but the end was worth listening too.
The concept was very good, and really did give insight to the Navy Seal community. Definitely gave you a taste and appreciation of what these men do, and also cleared up stories and rumors of the mission. Worth reading, but a little boring to listen too.
