The story was a new twist on the stripper/prostitute angle. This girl was not forced into the life or led there by some male taking advantage of her. She went because she tried it and became addicted, according to the story.
I didn't think the reader was as bad as many said. There was not a lot of inflection in the voice, but I guess I overlooked that.
NOPE! I would not be watching it anyway if they made it. Not opposed to sex in movies, nor to some degree, not opposed to movies about sex. I just think this is a poor venue for it. I would get really tired of watching her and her friends do pole dances and masterbation.
I will miss Richard, if this truly is the last of the series. It is somewhat predictable, but still enjoyable. It met my expectations. Cornwell as usual does his research for this book. I recommend it to you.
I thought it took a long time to say that everything we do effects others. That is the basis of the book. It caused me to think about people I know, but it was not at all what I expected in the book.
A very good book about one Texas Ranger. Has interetsting stories about his life and his work. He has a tendency to find only his ideas to be proper. I can agree with most of his ideas, but not all.
This was a very interesting story of a true whale encounter, followed by a story of courage, luck, and survival.
