Robyn Carr is on my instant buy list, I have everything she has ever written but I regret to say it seems as if she took pieces of her virgin river stories and made this one. You had a little Jack in their a little of Collin and a few other of the VR series ppl. It was still and enjoyable book but it has been done before. I would of rather of waited longer for a new book then to read something it seems I have just read.

I waited for awhile to get this book since it was not an audiobook. The moment it was released I snatched it up. I love these types of story lines and this is the type of book I was in the mood for but it just did not do the trick.
If the author would take out the cussing then this book would be for children.
There is not really an ending. She just goes back to New York. Nothing really gets resolved. Where is my HEA? Where was the romance? The only thing that saves this book from being 1 star is the practical jokes the kids played on each other. I would skip this book in less you are a young teenager.

It’s not easy being life’s own personal joke, but Josette Landry has made an unstable peace with the beast. Life will continue to throw every bad thing it has at her, and she will continue to not put her head in an oven. But that’s okay. That which doesn’t kill her will just require a few hours of mental insanity. Completely down on her luck, Josette takes a job with a local paranormal group as a photographer and camerawoman. Yeah, they’re even crazier than she is. The only paranormal thing she believes in is the miracle that keeps her rusted out hoopty running.

This is probably my least favorite of all SK's novels. I started this book looking for the pulse pounding heart stopping action that I have come to expect and this book just did not deliver. The sarcasm was not in this book like previous books.
We do get some insight into Thorn and Jaden. We get to see some old fav's like Ash, Simi, Styxx, Kat, and Fang. There is a cliff hanger about Sav that make you think hum......
Things I did not like about the book was the instat love expecially since Joe just got divorced. I did not feel the love connection, it kept feeling like she pitted him and he loved her because she was there. The multiply names for characters, made me confused for awhile. The new people I have never heard of from the LOA series.
I will reread this just because I know I did not catch it all the first time for all the confusion between the characters names and the new people. I am looking forward to the next book! I was happy to see Holter back as the narrator. The brogue speak was hard to understand for me as well. I think that is my issue with my hearing rather than the narrator though.

Hopeless romantic Isla has had a crush on introspective cartoonist Josh since their first year at the School of America in Paris. And after a chance encounter in Manhattan over the summer, romance might be closer than Isla imagined. But as they begin their senior year back in France, Isla and Josh are forced to confront the challenges every young couple must face, including family drama, uncertainty about their college futures, and the very real possibility of being apart.

The narration was flat no life what so ever. She made the characters sound nothing like teenagers and lifeless. Grated on my last nerve!
This is like the umpteenth book that I have bought recently that was a last book in a series. I do not know what is going on with the narrators and authors. If you do not want to write the book DO NOT WRITE THE BOOK! Do not just throw together something because fans are asking for more. And for the love of GOD please chose a narrator that brings something to the book not kills all enjoyment!

I can not say if I like this book at all the narration was so bad. I tired my best to focus on the story but these characters (hopefully just due to narration) was horrible and I hated them. Which sadly disappoints me because I so loved them in the last book so that why I think it was the narration that made me hate them in this one.
Do your self a favor and pass on the audio with this one. It will turn you away and this author has never been a disappointment before.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes just because it is the last in a series that was awesome until now.

If you’ve listened to books by Cassandra Clare before, how does this one compare?

I loved the first 4 books in this series, was not so wild about the 5th due to horrible narrators and not so wild about this one for the same reasons.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Narration fail flat. Words were mispronounced which drove me nuts! It felt lifeless. All this action was happening according to the words being said but I was not living in the moment like I did with the first 4 books.

Did City of Heavenly Fire inspire you to do anything?

It inspired me to never preorder a book again with out being familiar with the narrator.

    Any additional comments?

After listening to the whole 20 something hours of this book I still cant tell if I even liked it. The narration was so bad I found myself asking is it over yet?! That is not a good thing when this author has always keep me on the edge of my seat. This is the second book (book 5 being the other one) that I walked away trying to remember what happened in the book and trying to figure out if I even like the book. This is terribly disappointing.

The time has come for one winner to be crowned. When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown - or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose - and how hard she'll have to fight for the future she wants.

But who's the bride.......who's the groom?!?! We get a wedding, funerals, and some heartbreak! I can't tell you who ends up in which of those list but trust me you will want to know. I am sadden that a very lovely lady died in this book. I wish the author would of kept her alive, I think there was a lot more to her story then we have heard. I think she would of been proud of the outcome and the future of this world that we have lived in over the course of these books. Aspen stole my heart in this book and Maxon made me love him even more and want to slap him at times. We get to visit with Marley and get to see a side of the Elite that we have never seen. There is love, war, and death. You must read the book as I will not give any spoilers away. Is this book worth the credit/money and time? YES! What are you waiting for?

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story... Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

There is not much difference between this book and Fallen Too Far. The only thing with this one is I found out the connection a lot sooner between Blair and Nan then you did in Fallen Too Far. I do not feel as if I gained any insight into Rush. I feel as if I learned more of him in the other books. I did like hearing this narration however. I loved getting to see Jace and Woods from Rush's point of view! Grant however came off as a total douche in this book lol. Just goes to show how men will act one way with their women and another with their boys.

Claire is a 20-something, single mom who grudgingly helps her best friend sell sex toys while she attempts to make enough money to start her own business to give her foul-mouthed, but extremely loveable (when he's asleep) toddler a better life. When Carter, the one-night-stand from her past that changed her life forever, shows up in her hometown bar without any recollection of her besides her unique chocolate scent, Claire will make it a point that he remembers her this time. With Carter's undisguised shock at suddenly finding out he has a four-year-old son and Claire's panic that her stretch marks and slim-to-none bedroom experience will send the man of her dreams heading for the hills, the pair will do whatever they can to get their happily ever after.

Laugh out loud till you can no longer breath and have tears running down your face funny! The most hilarious book I have ever read!

Warnings: This book contains a lot of profanity, rude remarks, sexual undertones, sex toys, chocolate, violence, drinking, and drugs.
This book is not for those who lack a sense of humor or those who are uptight!

Now that is out of the way. Let me tell you to GRAB this book now if you are the types of person who can handle all the warnings. You will not regret this book at all. You will laugh like you have never laughed before. I imagine that everyone can relate to this book in one of the many LOL moments, rather it be things you may have thought or things you may have wanted to say to someone but was too nice to say them.

The characters are loveable but are no holds bars with their way of speech. I think these characters could even make sailors blush. (Cruse like a sailor) remember those words because sailors aint got nothing on this group!

This book starts of with Claire who is a virgin, one night at a college party she meets a guy and decides its time to pop her cherry. From there the laughs begin. I do not want to go into to much of the story so I will stop there. The story is written to where you know what they are thinking inside of their heads ( you know those thoughts you say to yourself but never dare say out loud since its no PC) yeah!!! Then you have those random thoughts that you think so loud that they pop out your mouth and every one's jaws hit the floor! LMAO!!!!

This book is all kinds of crazy ass fun! A laugh a minute that one can not ever regret. If you love comedy and/or America's funniest videos, I highly suggest you pick up this book.

I got this book because of the good reviews, one in particular, she has never failed me. However I do not see why people have loved this book so much. It was funny and romantic but it got to the point I was screaming ENUFF ALREADY! For me this book was just a little too long for the main story line. By the end of the book if I heard one more time about him being a 10.5 and her being a 2.5 I would have screamed. I just wanted to knock some sense into Mara. The ending however when the big oh no happened felt rushed. If the author would of token out some of the .5 stuff and add more to that OH NO scene then this book might of been a 4. But since I had to listen to all that point this and that for so long I can not give this book more then 3 stars. This book could of been half as long and been better. I am just happy I did not pay full price for it.

There’s nothing worse than living next door to your childhood nemesis, except maybe being forced to share your dream project with him, being blackmailed into going along with something that was just wrong on so many levels, and having your hot cocoa stolen by the person that drove you to drink it in the first place. As long as she has plenty of hot cocoa, a pair of pliers on hand and is able to resist Connor O’Neil’s bad boy charm then Rory James should be able to make it through this project with her sanity intact.
