Yes, this is one of those books that I will review through out the year.
Attachments and how they impact us.
I read the Four Agreements and that book changed my life. Miguel Ruiz, Jr., did an excellent job discussing further the wisdom of the Toltec. I had several "aha" moments!
This series is one of my favorites. I bought it initially for my daughter, but I got caught up in the story. The past two weekends have been Ga'hoole marathons for me. I just bought the last 3 available books.
I have enjoyed all of the characters, the narrator brought all of the characters to life.
This book gave me another perspective on life. It is very powerful hearing the writer tell her own story about her NDE. I played this book for a friend who normally gets easily distracted and she was drawn into the story. I highly recommend this book! It has the potential, if you are willing, to cause you to reevaluate your life.
The practicality of the book and it's applicability to my life.
I can't say I learned anything new, this book nourished and revived the seeds that had already been planted.
When I first began listening, I turned it off after 15-20 min, I thought the reader and material was dry. I tried to get a refund for this book, but the request would never go through. I decided to skip through the chapters and for me, starting at chapter 12 of the audio book , I realized that I struck gold! This book has been life giving, I have played various parts of this daily.
I've read the book and wanted to review it, but don't always have time for a leisurely read. The audiobook gives me the opportunity to "read" while doing other things.
I enjoyed listening to him, he was a good match for this book.
You have to be open and ready for change to get the most from this book!
