An American Tragedy is the story of Clyde Griffiths, who spends his life in the desperate pursuit of success. On a deeper, more profound level, it is the masterful portrayal of the society whose values both shape Clyde's ambitions and seal his fate; it is an unsurpassed depiction of the harsh realities of American life and of the dark side of the American dream.

I think, it's a very good book and a great audiobook but tragic.
Also I disliked some of it, I was constantly captivated by it.
    Narrator is amazingly good.

  • Dance, Dance, Dance

Quirky characters, a hotel with a phantom floor, sexy girls, rock music, especially Talking Heads - this gloriously imaginative romp around contemporary Japan defies description. A cult novelist with a huge international following, but also with a serious literary reputation, Haruki Murakami gains more fans with each book. Dance, Dance, Dance is one of his finest and most loved.

Beware, kind of follows "Wild Sheep Chase".

I came to this book for the beautiful couple "Murakami-Degas", and again, I loved this perfect combination, I loved Murakami's characters and enjoyed so much the way Rupert Degas brings them to life, loved his many voices.

What an amazing narrator, what an actor, what a delightful pleasure it was to listen to these many voices, to these many characters performed by one mighty talented man.
I had so much fun listening to it, listening to him that I must say BRAVO !!!
