Nothing. I probably should have realized from the publisher's summary that it would be boring. Just not for me. I couldn't relate to any of the characters.
it was so fun to hear martins stories, read by him. laughed out loud.
none - very unique
descriptions of his relationships with his family while growing up -- esp of his mom
It Reminded me of Gone Girl. It kept me guessing -- and listening! Highly recommend. Now on to the next mystery!
It tries hard, but never takes off.
I don't care to know the characters -- make them more interesting.
Not enough variation in characters.
I only got 1/3 of the way through ... so it's hard to say. I just couldn't finish it.
Make at least ONE of the characters interesting, if not likable.
The premise and character development.
I really liked Ashley, because her self-involvement was so entertaining. It was entertaining to hear her thought process (as she unapologetically thought of no one but herself). Of course, in real life, I would stay as far away as possible!
The dog, of course!
Perhaps, but it isn't at the top of my to do list.
Some good plot twists, but overall I just found the characters' whining annoying.
The storyline and narrator's performance. I laughed out loud more than once, which isn't typical.
I don't want to give it away, but it involves El Pollo Loco.
Sometimes a male doesn't seem to be able to capture a female character's personality, but Scott did. I never found myself rolling my eyes at the way he brought any of the characters to life, including the females. (Same is true for female narrators, by the way. I am an equal opportunity complainer.) :)
Fall in love with a con man, get played, and come back for more.
Can't wait for more books in the series!!! And keep Scott as the narrator, please!
Yes. Because some of the character's thoughts are so funny. I would enjoy listening again.
Davis Way. Because of her name, where she is from, her personality and sarcasm.
Davis Way, definitely.
Just entertaining overall. The author and narrator did a great job making me feel the characters and understand their thoughts/actions.
Can't wait for the next book in the series! Please keep Dina Pearlman as the narrator -- she IS Davis Way.
Make it somewhat plausible
I enjoyed the narrator's accent ... probably the only thing that kept me listening as long as I did. I gave up after the fourth murder. Just don't care "whodunnit" enough to keep keep listening.
