Hypnotic gastric band technique is a very specific method of hypnosis. That technique was completely absent from this presentation.

Mr Bonetti may be a competent hypnotist. But, this program was simply another weight-loss hypnosis sound byte.

This classic expose of the Fed has become one of the best-selling books in its category of all time. Where does money come from? Where does it go? Who makes it? The money magician's secrets are unveiled. Here is a close look at their mirrors and smoke machines, the pulleys, cogs, and wheels that create the grand illusion called money. A boring subject? Just wait. You'll be hooked in five minutes. It reads like a detective story - which it really is, but it's all true.

Meticulously researched. Nicely written. Exquisitely narrated. Essential information for very American to know.

My only complaint is that it was too long. An abridged version would be welcome.

In one of the most compelling combat narratives ever written, Staff Sergeant David Bellavia, an Army infantry platoon leader in Iraq, gives a teeth-rattling, first-hand account of 11 straight days of heavy house-to-house fighting during the climactic second battle of Fallujah. His actions in the firefight, which included killing five insurgents in hand-to-hand combat, earned Bellavia the Bronze Star, the Silver Star, and New York state's highest military honor, the Conspicuous Service Cross.

Gritty tale of the the Army's often overlooked role in the battle of Fallujah. While we celebrate the glamour of special operations units in war. The line infantry is repeatedly neglected. This story provides a good perspective on the experience of a line infantry company completely ensconced in battle for 30 days. It will hold your attention.

At the end, I sense that SSG Bellavia (as many soldiers do) was longing for the intensity and comradeship of his battle mates. After all, soldiers don't fight for the generals or the commander in chief, they fight for the guy standing next yo him in the foxhole.

America is in the thrall of a full-scale socioeconomic breakdown. The stock market plummets, hyperinflation destroys the value of the dollar, and the population, unprepared for hardship, panics. Practically overnight, the high technology infrastructure and chains of supply collapse and wholesale rioting and looting grip every city. Law enforcement, transportation, electricity, fuel, and medical supplies are all in the past now, as the country staggers beneath its own weight.

Great story. The author makes the implausible seem quite reasonable. As always, he teaches as he goes and provides rich detail on why and how to prepare.

Love the series, anxiously awaiting the next volume.

    Enjoy!

Written in Austria and Germany during the fall of 1971, The Odessa File is based on its author's life experiences as a Reuters man reporting from London, Paris, and East Berlin in the early 1960s.

Good story of the Nazi SS brotherhood post WWII. As with all Forsyth books, the story is developed from a solid basis in fact. Thus, it draws the listener in and paints a very believable tale.

A little disappointed in the ending. Other than that, this is typical Forsyth, exquisite.

A powerhouse fusion of pathos and humor, brutal realism and intimate reflection, Flying Through Midnight is a landmark contribution to Vietnam War literature, revealing previously top-secret intelligence on the 606's night missions. Fast-paced, thrilling, and bitingly intelligent, Halliday's writing illuminates it all: the heart-pounding air battles, the close friendships, the crippling fear, and the astonishing final escape that made the telling of it possible.

I'm honestly embarrassed for the author. I thought I was buying a book on Vietnam era Air Force Special Operations combat flying. What I got was a 15 hour whine about living conditions faulty air conditioning, bad mattresses, knucklehead co-pilots and late paychecks.

As a former combat pilot with multiple deployments and three kids also with multiple deployments as ground fighters in the current wars, The author should be ashamed for even bringing this book to market.

Certainly, there are GREAT Air Force contributors - JFACs, A-10s and AC-130s are effective, underrated and in very high demand. Unfortunately, for most of the rest of the service, this story simply reinforces the stereotype of Air Force officers as blue-suited prima donnas with very little regard for the real warriors on the ground.

Don't waste your money or time.

It’s the near future, and thanks to a perfect storm of reckless banking practices, hyperinflation, a stock market gone mad, and the negligence of our elected officials, the entire social, political, and economic infrastructure of America has collapsed. Chaos reigns in the streets, medical treatment is no longer available, and a silent coup has placed a dangerous group of men at the helm of a false government. America’s fate is in the hands of those few individuals who have the survival skills, the faith, and the forethought to return this country to the state its founding fathers intended.

A very solid conclusion for the Patriot series. Rawles is a Prepper and blogger and he teaches as he tells his story.

He relies very much on world history to build his story. Consequently, his stories are plausible and motivating.

    Highly recommended.

This first book of the Holding Their Own series, A Story of Survival, is set in the year 2015, when the world is burdened by the second Great Depression. The United States, already weakened by internal strife, becomes the target of an international terror plot. A series of attacks results in thousands of casualties and disables the country's core infrastructure. The combination of economic hardship and the staggering blow of the terror attacks results in a collapse of the government.
