As good as the Mercy Thompson books. Wish there were more with these characters
I loved the first book, but even after many attempt I can't wade through this one. Bad language and senseless violence is all I get out of it. It just seems so slow and I love this genre, but not this book.
I just wanted to add to the glowing reviews for Bronson Pinchot. His capacity for different voices was brilliant. Going on to the next book soon. Great story also.
I really enjoyed this book......it is not the space opera type. I found the story plausible and the character interesting. Going to check now to see if there is a sequel.
Good steam punk story and good clean fun. I liked the characters right away.
Narration was very well done.
This is another great chapter in the Jane Yellowrock series. I have enjoyed all of them.
I will be very sorry if/when this series ends. I have really enjoyed all of them.
I have enjoyed Ms. Lackey's books for many years. This was as good (great) as the other books with the added surprise of her referrals to another favorite character Amelia Peabody. Since I have read all those books as well, this made Home From The Sea all the more fun. Thanks for a great read.
This was even better than the first two books. I couldn't stop listening and didn't want it to end. Love Love Love it.
I am sure there are people who really liked this book, but I couldn't get into it. I have not finished it as of this date. Too slow.
The only reason I didn't give this book all 5 stars was because of the silly trumpet flourishes every so often. I found them annoying. The story and characters themselves were believable and I was hooked right away. Great narrator also.
