Revealing, Life and Death.
Sun Tzu's Stratigum give a clear cutting approach to problem solving. Seeing war as art stretches my mind, however, we all battle elements of our lives, and we command a powerful army with every idea that we pursue, protect, or promote. The Art of War has survived for good reason, it captures the simplicity of our nature to survive against the odds, strips the life and death emotion away revealing the structure of dominance. Every Artist owes it a read.
This takes audio books to a new high for me. The full measure of a man in his own words! Unequaled and Superb. If you only had one audio book in your library this would be that book. That Good!
The author takes you into his mind and values on a solid gold adventure in reality. We may not all measure up though we may have the nerve to stand and cheer when it's been done with such integrity and honesty.
Don't be small it was all good!
That's the thing! The film has been made this is THE STORY! that is woven between them.
Wow. I had no Idea I could be so Angry I couldn't loan it to a friend!
The revelation of how difficult it is to keep focus without frustration. He could do what he did though health and happiness was honestly not some thing he could manufacture in himself.
It did'nt attempt to draw a conclusion, though it invited the reader to have the information to make up his or her own mind.
Would you look at the Vitruvian man again? So would I, yes and each look would add to the understanding that comes by deep and thorough self study. Yet the value of this book is the way the Author has placed Leonardo into the setting giving a perception of the development of his mind. Capturing the mind of Man where we can examine it in ourselves.
Leonardo's ever present notebook that witnessed his development, chronicled it , and eventually brought him back to life for us to study.
From the moment I first saw the Vitruvian Man I was captured by it, I quickly found it was one of Leonardos. I always have wanted to speak with him and ask his motivation, The Ghost is in me.
