I thought Ellen is funny and looked forward to this audiobook. It is terrible. She may be a comedian, but she is no author. Her jokes were weak, lame, and infantile. Take "chapter 29": she sits there insulting our intelligence by making sounds, somewhat like a 5 year old does when he finds a tape recorder. Another comedian (Steve Martin) wrote an autobiography and succeeded. She doesnt. She doesn't even entertain. This book demands of me to review my prior conceptions (mis-) of this comedian. Save yourself the money!
