I feel this was just a quick fix, something to sling out to fans of Anita Blake to tide them over. It was boring at best, AB isn't advancing in her life she stalled, the last book Hit List and this book were just OK. Add more action, more storylines, stop being so predictable with AB and her story, make it more thrilling, scary, gruesom, add some unexpected twist with the story line...
Either end the series LKH or write a better story....sorry, but I am a big fan of the AB series, but come on, give us something.
After listening to Iced, I kind of thought that KMM was moving pass Mac and onto Dani, but not the case in Burned. This book takes many different roads, it's a lot to take in with no real resolve on any one point. The story is just kind of scattered..... Still love the series but was a little disappointed in this book...
I love this whole series but I really feel that the storyline is stalling, I feel Ms.Grant gives just enough to keep you there but really not a finishing story, I'd like to see the story move along a lot more per book, and for that reason I give it only 2 stars.
it not that its a bad story, just not a story for me. the narration was good, but the book was so drawn out, I got bored.
I thought his narration was great
I'm always glad when a great series end with a great story. Way to go KH, well done.
The story of Rachel ended with class and total awesomeness . I loved every minute of this series, it's one I'll listen to again and again....
This is the 3 rd and final ( I think) in the series of "The Discovery of Witches", we are following up with Diana and Matthew returning from 1590, only to come home to sad news and the death of a loved one. In their fight to find out why they are like they are, they are seeking the final pages of the book of life, trying to put it back together, finding answers in unexpected place from unexpected people. Wonderful writing, great history , awesome narration by Jennifer Ikeda.
This is truly a wonderful series.. Thank you D. Harkness for a wonderful trip into the life of Diana and Matthew!
Once again Gin is drawn into helping people who are close to her, fighting another drug lord wanna be to save the ones she loves, make this book a good listen. Great narration as always.
This was a good book a little different from my normal genre of book I like but I liked it, I didn't love it, I got book 1&2 but not sure Ill go on with the series. Narration was good I love Ms. Raudman reading she's a strong story teller and I like that.
So happy Ms. Grant took this series on, I think the dragons are so very interesting, I was a little confused with the timeline tho, I thought in the warrior series that a few of the dragons were all ready mated but in the start of this series they are not, so with that in mind I the Ms.Grant took us back some on the storyline... Totally ok with me it was easy to catch on and follow along....
Thank you for a great book
Another totally fabulous book in the Psy-Changeling series, I do think this was my very favorite book in this series..I loved the story of Vasic and was thrill she gave us readers/listeners a more closer look into this very humble, soft spoken man.
Why Oh Why do these book clubs never listen to their reader/listeners?cWhy Do You Change Narrators in a series long running, it just doesn't make good senes..... That be said, I'm sure Ms Hill would be good in other books but in this she took the story ratings down for me, her voice was so bad I couldn't tell who was who, she switched from an Scottish Highland accent to an English accent back to a semi American accent WTH!
I could barely get through the first chapter and quit by chapter 7 and went and bought the book instead, she muddled through out the book and it was a train wreck.
My feed back...... Buy LKH book instead do not buy this audio book it ruin book 9.
