It’s seeming more and more doubtful that she will be able pull herself back together in time to rejoin her friends and set the world to rights. I believe this is book 17 in the sisters of the moon it's good storytelling I like everything about the book I just feel that it's very slow pace through each book we don't really get anything done but all in all it's just a good listen. I do wish Miss Galenorn would move on the storyline a little bit quicker, find the spirit seals, move on with the girls lives, it just seems to stalled so often that I'm reluctant to purchase the book because I don't feel like I get enough out of it

The New York Times best-selling author of The Black Jewels Trilogy transports readers to a world of magic and political unrest - where the only chance at peace requires a deadly price.... The Others freed the cassandra sangue to protect the blood prophets from exploitation, not realizing their actions would have dire consequences. Now the fragile seers are in greater danger than ever before - both from their own weaknesses and from those who seek to control their divinations for wicked purposes.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is an awesome series, tho it was hard for me to get into it at first I have come to love the characters in the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course Meg and Simon are my favorite but I do like Monty I like the part of how sure he is about the role humans play in the others world I like that he's open minded along with Captain Burke.

Which character – as performed by Alexandra Harris – was your favorite?

It's hard to pick one character in the series because each play in important part in the whole scheme of the book but if I was to have to pick I do like Henry Bearguard as the Spirit Walker, his calm demeanor to focus on the spiritual part of the prophecies from Meg and he holds together the group I like that part about him, I like Tess I like the fact that she has found a place where she feels wanted and has friendship, that she has something to fight for I feel that this is an important thing for her, something that her species has never had so she's a favorite of mine too

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did and then I listen to it again I listen to the whole series before I start the newest book just to refresh my mind so it's a continuous story for me I'm looking forward to book for hoping for some new characters finding out what is happened to the newly found blood profits I'm interested in what's going on on ferry man's island so I hope that the story continues to grow

    Any additional comments?

This is the superior storytelling adventure it defies my mind that A writer can come up with such a story mine and build on it I'm blown away by the characters the places the things that they do I love this series it's a good read a good listen, the narration was awesome, all in all I give it a thumbs up and a five star review!

Another shockingly suspenseful installment in #1 New York Times best-selling author Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. Burned picks up right where the surprising conclusion of Iced left off, and will feature beloved characters Mac and Dani O'Malley as they embark on another high-octane adventure in the Fever world.

After listening to Iced, I kind of thought that KMM was moving pass Mac and onto Dani, but not the case in Burned. This book takes many different roads, it's a lot to take in with no real resolve on any one point. The story is just kind of scattered..... Still love the series but was a little disappointed in this book...

That is, until a mysterious stranger enters the picture and sets his whole world off course. Iona is a woman with a mission: to learn the truth about her dead father.

I love this whole series but I really feel that the storyline is stalling, I feel Ms.Grant gives just enough to keep you there but really not a finishing story, I'd like to see the story move along a lot more per book, and for that reason I give it only 2 stars.

At Matthew's ancestral home at Sept-Tours, they reunite with the cast of characters from A Discovery of Witches - with one significant exception. If you could sum up The Book of Life in three words, what would they be?

This is the 3 rd and final ( I think) in the series of "The Discovery of Witches", we are following up with Diana and Matthew returning from 1590, only to come home to sad news and the death of a loved one. In their fight to find out why they are like they are, they are seeking the final pages of the book of life, trying to put it back together, finding answers in unexpected place from unexpected people. Wonderful writing, great history , awesome narration by Jennifer Ikeda.
This is truly a wonderful series.. Thank you D. Harkness for a wonderful trip into the life of Diana and Matthew!
