How did the narrator detract from the book?

he is very hard to understand, he does not speak clearly at all... I get that back in this time languages were different, but thats not the issue here its his pronuncation of words, he seems to mubble over words..

    Any additional comments?

this is book 2, I just finished it after 4 week uggghhhh
the story has progress a little and I have a little more understanding of the characters that are left, its slow a very slow story told many times over in each characters story, it still jumps from one to another with no ryme or reason it seems to me, the timeline doesn't seem to match when it switches characters so thats confusing to me..
Trully not a favorite for me.. maybe book 3 will try to hook me more?????

Rose Drayton lives on the Edge, between the world of the Broken (where people drive cars, shop at Wal-Mart, and magic is a fairy tale) and the Weird (where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam, and the strength of your magic can change your destiny). Only Edgers like Rose can easily travel from one world to the next, but they never truly belong in either.

So happy Ms. Grant took this series on, I think the dragons are so very interesting, I was a little confused with the timeline tho, I thought in the warrior series that a few of the dragons were all ready mated but in the start of this series they are not, so with that in mind I the Ms.Grant took us back some on the storyline... Totally ok with me it was easy to catch on and follow along....

Thank you for a great book

Merry Gentry pretends to be human. She moved to Los Angeles and began working as a private investigator at Grey's Detective Agency. But all of this is just a disguise; in fact she is a princess of faerie, her real name is Meredith Nic Essus, and she had to flee the Dark Court of Faerie because of attempts on her life. In order to inherit her rightful crown, Merry needed to conceive an heir, a notoriously difficult task for the slow-reproducing Fey. In the 2009 novel Divine Misdemeanors, Merry had finally achieved that goal - and fans have been kept waiting all this time to find out what happens!

Why Oh Why do these book clubs never listen to their reader/listeners?cWhy Do You Change Narrators in a series long running, it just doesn't make good senes..... That be said, I'm sure Ms Hill would be good in other books but in this she took the story ratings down for me, her voice was so bad I couldn't tell who was who, she switched from an Scottish Highland accent to an English accent back to a semi American accent WTH!

I could barely get through the first chapter and quit by chapter 7 and went and bought the book instead, she muddled through out the book and it was a train wreck.

My feed back...... Buy LKH book instead do not buy this audio book it ruin book 9.

I hope there's more!

Meet Jake. A bit on the elderly side (he turns 201 in March), but otherwise in the pink of health. The nonstop sex and exercise he’s still getting probably contribute to that, as does his diet: unusual amounts of flesh and blood (at least some from friends and relatives). Jake, of course, is a werewolf, and with the death of his colleague he has now become the only one of his kind.
