Hvam is always gives a great performance.
This story is slow and focuses on just one event. Many of the previous stories had multiple situations and varied characters.
Please do not.
I am afraid that Michelle has run out of avenues for the story and is just casting about. She has a beautiful writing style but unfortunately nothing to say.
New, interesting and better narration.
Eric is a much better narrator than the first book. He did need to listen to the first book and continue some of the established voices.
This is a good Sci-Fi book in the area of premise. The idea is fairly new, which is rare if you read a lot on Sci-Fi. The author does seem to dwell way to long on mundane stuff but overall the book is good. Hope installment 3 comes soon.
Great complex story and fantastic narration.
All of it.
Too many to name.
I write few reviews but this author and these narrators are exceptional. Reading and Kramer are true professionals. When they combined with Jordan in Wheel of Time it was true genius. When Sanderson finished Wheel of Time it was spectacular. Some of Sanderson's stories I am not crazy about (Steelhart) but all are written well. Mistborn is a classic. Sanderson, Reading and Kramer are superb in this book. Can't wait for the next installment!
Never read it.
First battle for immunity.
Good on men and aliens but terrible on women. These women are suppose to be the bosses of mankind and they sound like little wimps.
Way too long for that.
Good premise, but the author drew some sections, like the original capture, out way too long.
The story is exciting laced with unexpected twists. Khristine Hvam is the 'perfect' narrator for the lead character.
I actually liked all the characters.
I have listened to nearly a hundred books and Khristine may be the best I have ever enjoyed.
I realize I am gushing on Khristine Hvam but I am convinced many more sci-fy writers should seek her out.
This is the first time I have reviewed a book but this one was so poor I felt compelled to speak out. The author spends more time differentiating between what the proper aircraft numbers were or what the actual number of downed aircraft were than focusing on the pilot aces. The actual audio quality was terrible. The volume fluctuates and the voice quality oscillates constantly. The reader seems to put his hand on his mouth and mumble on purpose. Potentially a very interesting topic that is absolutely butchered in every aspect. If you buy you will be disappointed.
