Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

Would you consider the audio edition of Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs to be better than the print version?

Yes, Amanda Ronconi's reading is so light and funny. She enhances the book. I've read Molly Harper's books and truly prefer to listen to them because of Ms Ranconi's narration.

What did you like best about this story?

The way a normal sedate life can be turned on its head in a night.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have and this is just as well done. I do enjoy her readings so much I have wish listed book by authors I did not know just to hear her read.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Jane went back to the library after all her changes.

    Any additional comments?

Enjoy the fun of the material and the joy of the read!

Return to the amazing worlds created by some of fantasy's most famous writers. Robert Jordan presents "New Spring", a stunning prequel to his best-selling series The Wheel of Time. Terry Pratchett relates "The Sea and Little Fishes", an enchanting incident set in Discworld. And Orson Scott Card spins another compelling yarn of Alvin Maker called "Grinning Man".

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Only if they like Orson Scott Card's Alvin Maker series.

If you’ve listened to books by the authors before, how does this one compare?

I've read/listened to everything (really!) written by Terry Pratchett. His universe is interesting and funny and lends itself to satire and a poke at us. I enjoyed this story, too. Jordan's world begins with this novella. If it interests you, read (listen to) the series. It does capture the imagination. I don't like the Alvin Maker series and this story did not keep me interested at all. I can't figure out why...

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, but it is a short story book so it lends itself to short listens as you can. A good listen when commuting to work and back.
