This book is so convoluted and so boring - the female reader's voice is really bad and the gunfire sound effects are so unnecessary and I could not find anything about it to enjoy. David Baldacci and Vince Flynn (American Assassin) both need to take a few years off. They are really struggling to come up with interesting storylines. I only wish I could get my credit back!
This is the last time I will spend money on a Daniel Silva book until and unless he changes the current storyline and venue drastically. It is the same old same old and I wish I had my credit back as it was an extremely boring book. Way too much about art restoration and little to no action.
I guess because I've read all of Daniel Silva's novels, I found this book to be much too "padded" with flashbacks and information from his earlier works. It would seem to me that the story should be able to stand alone without rehashing all of what happened in the books that came before. WHY?? - is it just a lazy and easy way to pad a book and get the number of pages one needs for publication?
This is the worst book I've bought from Audible.com in all the years I've been a member. So sorry I wasted one of my precious credits on it. Not only is the story awful but the narrator is not good either. I would prefer to give it 1/2 of a credit at the most.
This was a very disappointing Daniel Silva book as he spent half the book retelling scenes from former books. It could have been half as long and would have been much better.
This book was not believable, much, much too long and drawn out and extremely tedious to get through
