I have read some parts of this book years ago. It was totally refreshed by Julie Harris' great reading of the work. Harris' voice captures the nuances and drama and style of the work, and the prose is refreshing. Had Beryl Markham lived today, she would be a great addition to the world with her ability to see events and people from another level entirely and her talent with words. She is certainly on my dinner list of people I'd like to meet.
I listen to these audible books again and again. Each time I get another bon mot from Mr. Wodehouse and I love his turn of phrase. His quiet humor makes these Jeeves stories so fun.
Any of the other Wodehouse Jeeves books are just as good. I listen to them all many times.
Although I have not heard Jonathan Cecil on other books, he would be the first I would ask if I were casting accents, multiple voices, great nuance needed. He is a 10+.
Jeeves helps orchestrate another good save for the always in the soup, Wooster, in this great romp in an English country manor.
I do recommend this audible book.
