I really don't like the heroine in this story. Author describes her as a cop's daughter, but she makes the weirdest choices, and falls for her handsome boss-- but also likes his brother! Nothing gets resolved here. Author seems to be trying to follow in the line of Janet Evanovich books -- but doesn't quite make it
This was a great listen. Once you allow that your listening to the dog narrator, it's a delight! And I think men will love all the racing metaphors!
