It is easier to carry it on my trips
When they give you an example of how you can use it and you realize you have use it some times too
I wasn't sure if I should buy the book since I had already watched the movie but Dr. Sleep was out on the streets and I was concern that I wouldn't understand it all.
It was a big surprise because the book and the movie are different, but I love them both.
If you are too much into details like me, or you prefer to know why certain things happen, you will love the book. If you prefer to use your imagination and create the story on your own stick to the movie (believe me, the book has details about the background of the Overlook hotel and Mr. Jack Torrance)
For example, why the river of blood? Why Jack goes mad? What happened in the overlook before? In the book S.K. gives you a better idea of what is happening. Yes of course you kind of know the overall plot but believe me, it changes from time to time.
The narrator does a fine job, he keeps it exactly at the point between just telling you the story and a hint of the feeling of the moment. I personally prefer this style, too much feeling add too much of the narrator perspective of the story, and too little will not add that extra punch
Yes, if you have not seen the movies (like me) it is a good story about love and it never get boring, the story has a constant rhythm
The voices, specially the old man are really good hint about the how the story is developed and the mood of the man.
I enjoyed understanding a bit more of the nature of this murderers
Death is waiting around the corner
I didn't like the rhythm of the story, it felt slow at moments and I didn't want to keep listening to it.
There is not much worth content, I know the story was written by Black Hack himself but it feels like too simple
I would have added more information about himself and what made him famous.
The way is narrated has added some spice to the story, it is more like a radio novel because they try to characterize the voices and sounds. Some people will enjoy this while some others not.
When George/Jake have poundcake for the first time with Sady :)
It was a good rhythm and you don't get bored easily
Emotions: freedom from anger, jealousy & fear by Osho, the reason is that it teaches you that you can control your emotions.
I have learned why I act in certain ways and how I can improve my life by understanding and handling those situations better.
I enjoyed knowing the motivations of Stephen to write his books
Stephen was the most important character in the story because it is mostly an autobiography.
After the initial introduction, it explains some good points about the truth and what you imagine
I will be less affected by the toughts of other people
At the begining the book is slow but it eventually pick up
