In October 1993, a tiny start-up called the Food Network debuted to little notice. Twenty years later, it is in 100 million homes, approaches a billion dollars a year in revenue, and features a galaxy of stars whose faces and names are as familiar to us as our own family's. But what we don't know about them, and the people behind them, could fill a book.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you are a fan of the Food Network - this will be an interesting listen. Lots of stories of who was involved throughout the two-decade long life of the network. Interesting details on the stories of the major players within the Food Network.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Don't have a 'favorite'.

What does Julian Fleischer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Clearly narrated. I don't read many books since I have Audible.

From Andre Agassi, one of the most beloved athletes in history and one of the most gifted men ever to step onto a tennis court, a beautiful, haunting autobiography. Agassi brings a near-photographic memory to every pivotal match and every relationship. Never before has the inner game of tennis and the outer game of fame been so precisely limned.

Would you try another book from Andre Agassi and/or Erik Davies?

I would not. You have to be able to endure 20 chapters of Andre talking about how horrible his father and coaches are while he gives too many 'whoa as me' details about his life. Way too much repetition of similar stories over and over again, just a different year. The only redeeming factor is when he met Stephanie Graff and he seemed to find his happiness and hit his stride. I admire Andres work in his foundation.

Would you ever listen to anything by Andre Agassi again?

    Probably not,

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

    The narrator was fine.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    No.

    Any additional comments?

I think you would need to be an absolute Agassi mega fan to like this book. I never watch tennis.

A teen idol at 15, an international icon and founder of the Brat Pack at 20, and one of Hollywood's top stars to this day, Rob Lowe chronicles his experiences. Never mean-spirited or salacious, Lowe delivers unexpected glimpses into his successes, disappointments, relationships, and one-of-a-kind encounters with people who shaped our world over the last 25 years. These stories are as entertaining as they are unforgettable.

Rob Lowes story is incredibly interesting. I appreciate how he opened up about many details in his life.. He does a great job at narrating the book as well. Looking forward to his new book in April 2014
