Dan Savage can do no wrong! I'm an avid follower of his podcast, I love his take on relationships and sex, so maybe, I'm just a little bit biased. But who cares, right?
Riva, a fellow reviewer who's taste I've begun to trust, got it right. A comfort read. Sweet story about an unlikely pair who get together against the odds. Light, comforting albeit just a little frivolous - but then, isn't that what we want from the genre?
I'm not going to pick apart the plot points - it is a work of fiction in the end. Sean Gormley bring this book to life - in the beginning he makes it feel heart breaking, the end if life affirming and joyous. A really good book, expertly coloured by a superb narrator.
The best example of M2M romance series and then some. Clearly composed with plot points stretching all the way back to the first book, I loved this as the wrap of the plot line as a whole. Well narrated, well written and a wonderful book. Spend a credit here.
I don't write my reviews immediately after I'm done with the book. I save them up, until I have 5 or 6 to do, then set aside a few moments to write them all at one. Trouble is, even after reading the publishers synopsis, I don't remember the characters and the plot. I remember not hating it - 'spose that's a plus.
Trouble with M2M romances series' is they're formulaic. Each book needs a new set of lovers, with a new set of challenges. Only the best writers are able to tie them together with any sensitivity. This is really a brilliant series - worth spending a credit here.
A second instalment in the series. The story picks up where the first left off. We're still in the haunted hotel, the two love birds are still tip toeing around each other and mommy dearest poisons then with tricked out baklava.
The subject matter is a little dark, and moving past it for Micki is tough. I loved the book and it's well worth the credit. I've just bought the second in the series.
Ever so often, I accidentally, or not, choose a book intended for the teen LGBT market. This is one. A lovely innocent love story at it's very best. If you're looking for a hot M2M romance, keep on looking. If you want to believe in love, spend the credit.
I really loved Tristan's confidence. He knows he's seeing ghosts in his home and he's completely sure it will all work out in the end. And it does. Great book, buy it!
I'm not sure I get the distinction between human and Therians. Even more to the point, I don't get the animosity between the races, or why each race has their own police force. That said, I loved the book. I loved the humour and action. Gonna buy the next in the series.
