For starters, I really have enjoyed all of DeMille's books. He is an excellent author. The John Corey series books are very good. The Lion was a good book. It was a continuation, trying to catch the terrorist, so nothing really new here, but it was entertaining.
A little sad in parts, but mostly up beat for a post apocalyptic book. I really enjoyed the book. It was very easy to listen to, and is very believable, I guess, if you think much about life after our civilization.
It is a good book for sure. It is a little slow in parts, but not bad. I really enjoyed it.
I would recommend this book. Very easy listen, but very introspective. It made me look deep into human nature, child rearing, and self contentment. Very good book though.
It was a pretty good book. Surely worth listening to, although the book was filled with profanity.
I really enjoyed "kill me". Dick hill is a great narrator, he did a superb job. The story line was interesting, occasionally venturing into the slightly unbelievable. But the book kept my attention all the way to the end. I would recommend it!
What a captivating story. A real story, nonetheless. So well told, I will remember this book for years. Truly, one of the greats here on audible.
Really a well told story. One of my favorites! I would recommend it. I loved the narrator, he did such a wonderful job.
I think this book is listed a Harry Bosch novel, but I don't think it really came across that way. A mix between Haller and Bosch. I am a huge fan of the Bosch series, but this book did not live up to the others in the series. The details of Bosch's character, his darker side, and his struggles with authority, did not really show up in this book. It was worth listening to, but nothing as good as the older bosch books.
I expected something close to "cell", by Stephen King. A post apocalyptic tale of survival amidst difficulties. This book was sooooo slow, and the story was so jumbled up, it was hard to tell what was really going on. The premise was interesting, but the follow through was just not there. So disjointed and hard to follow. I did not finish the book.
